InCore Bank at the 16th Swiss Fund Day 2022
In March 2022, a survey of a hundred fund managers in Europe found that just over half of them (52 percent) are starting to look at Tokenization. 85 percent of the respondents said they believe financial services firms risk falling behind if they don't prepare for asset tokenization. According to the survey, which was conducted by tokenization platform Token City, some 21 percent of the fund managers stated that they have already invested in some tokenized assets; 73 percent plan to do so in the next three years. The survey participants collectively manage $546.5 billion in assets. Since the assets sector obviously shows great interest in this area, there is no doubt that the asset management and fund industry needs to find answers to the processes of tokenization of assets.

For this reason, the theme of this year's SWISS FUND DAY was «Token to the Future – Digitalization of the Fund Value Chain». As part of the conference, InCore Bank was honoured to take part in the stimulating panel discussion focusing on the extent to which a radical rethink is needed in the industry. Mark Dambacher, CEO of InCore Bank, was pleased to share his insights with the other panellists Rober Majewski of Blackrock Asset Management Switzerland AG, Sina Meier of 21 Shares and Thomas Schärrer of Credit Suisse Funds AG. The conclusion of the discussion was that the speakers strongly believe in the potential of the new way of digitising assets.
In addition, Roger Darin was happy to share his expertise with the community and network with new contacts. Many thanks to Karsten Illy from Nothern Trust for the moderation and to the Swiss Fund Day team for the excellent organisation!
