InCore Bank at the Crypto Finance Conference in St. Moritz 2023

«This year's CfC St. Moritz once again featured an interesting program covering the latest trends in the crypto world as well as a valuable exchange with the community», concluded Roger Darin and Mark Dambacher after the three-day conference in the Swiss Alps. This year's special focus was the first official side event of the CfC, organized by InCore Bank in cooperation with its partner GenTwo.

The CfC in St. Moritz is one of the world's most important digital asset and blockchain conferences for sophisticated investors and decision makers. Therefore, it was an honor for InCore Bank as a partner to be part of the event again. CEO Mark Dambacher and Roger Darin, Head New Markets, were delighted and proud to represent InCore Bank as a pioneer in this industry at this year's edition.

For the first time, InCore Bank and its partner GenTwo hosted an official side event of the conference. On Friday afternoon, they welcomed around 60 interested personalities from the crypto scene to participate in workshops, highly interesting presentations and a networking aperitif.

The side event was dedicated to the topic "From innovative Structured Products to the Metaverse". Simone C. Drill, Head of Marketing & Communications at GenTwo, moderated the event. Metaverse expert Dr. Martha Boeckenfeld started with an engaging presentation on «Real estate goes Meta» followed by strategy expert for banking and digital assets Dr. Daniel Diemers on «Investing in the Metaverse» kicked off the program.

After a short networking break, in-depth presentations were given by Guillermo Worlicek on the topic of «Your bespoke AMC and other certificates» as well as by Roger Darin and Nikola Gander on «Innovation in structuring: TradFi goes DeFi». Hadrient Schmidt rounded off the session with an interesting presentation of a use case on «Art & Collectibles».

To round out the afternoon, the panellists Dr. Daniel Diemers, Dr. Martha Boeckenfeld, Philippe A. Naegeli and Luca Burlando, moderated by Roger Darin, provided valuable insights and perspectives on «The Future of Investment Products».

Our three key takeaways from the first CfC side event are:

  • Lessons learned from 2022: there is a need for a diversified Metaverse portfolio
  • There are more investment options as a result of ongoing innovation (DeFi, Tokenization, NFTs, etc.)
  • AMCs are highly flexible products and allow the integration of traditional and modern crypto assets.

We were overwhelmed by the huge interest and the positive response. Many thanks to the CfC team for the excellent organization and to all participants for the interesting and stimulating exchange!
