InCore Bank sponsors Special Olympics athletes
Officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee, Special Olympics creates the conditions necessary for athletes with mental disabilities to participate in sports. The organization, represented in around 200 countries, actively promotes inclusion and equality. With a diverse range of summer and winter sports, it offers children, teenagers and adults the chance for more confidence, recognition and participation within society. Besides the athletic achievements, it's also about social contacts and improving quality of life. The athletes take part in national and international competitions, carefully prepared for them by their coaches and Special Olympics.
The movement counts over 6.3 million athletes worldwide. They all share their joy with other athletes, family members and society. The organization was founded in 1968 in the USA by Eunice Kennedy-Shriver. Since 1995, Switzerland has also been represented by Special Olympics Switzerland as an independent foundation with a wide range of sports. The organization also works hand in hand with sports clubs, sports events and sports federations to enable people with disabilities to participate in existing structures.
InCore Bank would like to honor the important work of Special Olympics Switzerland. That is why we have been a partner for many years and support the foundation with an annual financial contribution. For topics like inclusion, tolerance and openness, we like to set an example.
